FACE FLY MOP
STANDARD EQUIPMENT:
The Face Fly mop is a valuable addition to the Sittner Unit for the control of face flies. Easily attached to the back tank, the valves are activated when rubbed by cattle and saturate the mop with insecticide. With this system, the insecticide remains stored in the tank, which extends its killing power until the mop is rubbed. The entire mop becomes saturated, giving an animal complete face, head, and back coverage of insecticide.

Construction Features:
UNIT:
- The unit itself is designed so any sized animal can use it.
- The unit is economical. It uses only 1/9 the insecticide a chain oiler will use.
- The animal must be in direct contact with the valves for the insecticide to flow. No waste.
- Up to six animals can use the unit at one time.
- The unit is portable and can be easily moved from pen to pen or pasture to pasture.
- The unit has a capacity of 15 gallons of insecticide. The back tank holds an additional 2 gallons.
VALVES:
- The valves are the only moving part - simple gravity flow, no chains, pumps,
or pulleys to service or repair. - The valve is constructed out of a special nylon, the same material used in
lawn mower bearings. - High tensile strength.
- Long wearing.
- The O-ring seal is made of a special rubber compound that won't expand on
contact with chemicals.
CURRY COMBS:
- The curry combs are purposely abrasive in order to entice animals to use the unit.
- Animal does not have to exert much pressure to get good scratching relief.
- The combs also groom the animal and remove dirt.
